OM Plus Features : Report Bursting Bundling and Distribution
Separating, and distributing printed reports is a messy reality for most enterprises. Distributing reports very often is an extremely critical day-to-day business requirement. With CD Plus the report data and command line arguments are captured prior to report spooling so destination and delivery decisions can be made prior to the report being spooled. No more need for printing multiple copies of reports and manually bursting and distributing them or having multiple reports be interspersed with other enterprise documents causing lost or incomplete information to be delivered to the end user. Now, related reports can be automatically grouped for quick and easy electronic distribution, and electronically burst and collated so users receive just the pages they need. With CD Plus, decisions can be made "real-time" about what to do with the document, (i.e. how and where to deliver it) based on triggers within the document's "meta-data" such as User, Report Title, Destination, Data Within the Report or any Command Line Option.
